LASER CUTTING / ENGRAVING

we CAN NOT CUT any type of metal, but we CAN engrave on a metal surface... if it is painted or powder coated . The laser can remove the coating to engrave a design.

Different materials  behave very differently.... Some cut cleanly; others are dangerous. Here's a quick guide to what we can and can't cut:

• Acrylic (plexi) — clean edges, great for signs and displays
• Wood - any wood up to 1/4" thick
• Natural Leathers — up to 1/8"
• Laser-safe Rubber — up to 1/8"
• Mylar — 10 mil+
• Paper - 10 mil+
• Cardboard - 10 mil+
• EVA Foam / Craft Foam — up to 2"
• GLASS - Engraving

• PVC / vinyl — produces toxic chlorine gas
• Polycarbonate (Lexan) — burns, produces toxic fumes
• ABS Plastic — toxic fumes
• Delrin / Acetal — toxic fumes when cut
• HDPE / Polypropylene — melts, won't cut cleanly
• Fiberglass — toxic fumes
• Carbon Fiber — toxic fumes
• Polystyrene / Styrofoam — melts, fire riskAdd an answer to this item.

Yes, we engrave on almost any glass surface. However, we can not CUT glass

We accept a variety of file formats for laser cutting and engraving. Vector files including AI, PDF, DXF, SVG. If you have a different file format, please contact us to see if we can work with it.  We can also create a custom file for you.

Depends on the type of material. Generally, we can cut most hard materials up to 1/4" inch. Acrylic 1mm-1/2" -  Softer materials such as foam up to 2" inches thick.

Maximum cut sizeapproximately 50" x 35",  However the laser does have a pass through and can accommodate some larger materials.

Plastic thicknesses vary by type. Always best to test unfamiliar materials with a small sample first.
